Silvia hat umfangreiche Forschungen zu Themen der europ\u00e4ischen politischen \u00d6konomie durchgef\u00fchrt, mit besonderem Augenmerk auf europ\u00e4ische Makro- und Finanzwirtschaft, sowie EU-Institutionen und Governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bevor sie zu Algebris kam, war Silvia als Affiliate Fellow bei Bruegel &#8211; einem Br\u00fcsseler Think Tank f\u00fcr Wirtschaftspolitik &#8211; und als Wirtschaftsanalystin bei der GD ECFIN der Europ\u00e4ischen Kommission t\u00e4tig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sie hat einen BA und Msc in Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaften von der Bocconi-Universit\u00e4t in Mailand. Sie schloss ihr Doktorat in europ\u00e4ischen und eurasischen Studien mit Schwerpunkt auf europ\u00e4ischer politischer \u00d6konomie an der Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) ab.
