Angesichts weiterhin hoher Unsicherheit bei Wachstum, Inflation und Arbeitsmarktdynamik sind die W\u00e4hrungsh\u00fcter immer weniger bereit, sich im Voraus auf einen klaren geldpolitischen Pfad festzulegen. F\u00fcr die EZB und die Bank of England lautet die Botschaft: bewusste Ambiguit\u00e4t. Beide Institutionen halten sich alle Optionen offen und versuchen zu verhindern, dass die M\u00e4rkte einzelne Formulierungen als vorweggenommene Entscheidung interpretieren. Die Fed steht hingegen vor einer komplexeren Kommunikationsaufgabe. Unter Fed-Chef Warsh k\u00f6nnte die Juli-Sitzung einen internen Konflikt dar\u00fcber offenlegen, ob die Zinsen angehoben werden sollten. In Sintra verweigerte Warsh ausdr\u00fccklich jede Guidance und liess die M\u00e4rkte damit im Unklaren \u00fcber die Reaktionsfunktion der neu gef\u00fchrten Fed. Dies markiert einen klaren Bruch mit dem st\u00e4rker gesteuerten Kommunikationsstil fr\u00fcherer Zyklen. Die Fed versucht nicht mehr, den M\u00e4rkten den Weg zu ebnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:28px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong>Fed &#8211; Zinserh\u00f6hung im Sommer auf dem Pr\u00fcfstand<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Argumente f\u00fcr eine Zinserh\u00f6hung der Fed im Sommer haben an Gewicht verloren, sind aber nicht vollst\u00e4ndig verschwunden. Die j\u00fcngsten Arbeitsmarktdaten fielen schw\u00e4cher aus als erwartet: die Zahl der neu geschaffenen Stellen au\u00dferhalb der Landwirtschaft stieg nur um 57.000, w\u00e4hrend die Vormonate um 74.000 nach unten revidiert wurden. Das reichte aus, um den Druck am kurzen Ende der Zinskurve zu verringern und den Dollar etwas abzuk\u00fchlen Die Details waren jedoch weniger taubenhaft, als es die Schlagzeile nahelegte. Die Arbeitslosenquote fiel auf 4,2 %, vermutlich beg\u00fcnstigt durch eine niedrigere Erwerbsbeteiligung, w\u00e4hrend Lohnwachstum und Inflationsdynamik weiterhin zentral f\u00fcr die Reaktionsfunktion der Fed bleiben. Der Bericht verringert die Dringlichkeit einer Zinserh\u00f6hung im Juli, beendet die Debatte aber nicht vollst\u00e4ndig. Da eine Zinserh\u00f6hung im Juli inzwischen nur noch mit rund 20 % eingepreist ist, ist eine Pause zum Basisszenario des Marktes geworden \u2013 aber noch nicht zu einer ausgemachten Sache. Entscheidend ist, dass die Fed unter Warsh offenbar nicht bereit ist, die Markterwartungen im Voraus zu best\u00e4tigen.
