Tommaso Pravettoni

Tommaso joined Algebris in 2026 as an Algebris Climatech Investment Manager.

Tommaso has gained experience in the venture capital sector, handling the entire investment cycle, from scouting to due diligence to deal execution. Over the course of his career, he has invested 20 million euros in early-stage companies, with a particular focus on deep tech and robotics. Early in his career, Tommaso worked in applied research, developing microchips for malaria diagnostics.

He holds a degree in Engineering Physics, with a specialization in nanophysics, nanotechnology, semiconductors, and quantum mechanics.

Tommaso is passionate about photography and rock climbing, and he loves spending his free time hiking in the mountains and cooking for friends.
