Madrid-headquartered Vector Renewables is a global provider of technical advisory, legal advisory and asset management services for renewable energy assets, complemented by its proprietary digital technology NUO.
Algebris Investments, through its private equity fund Algebris Green Transition Fund (“the Fund”), has completed the acquisition of 100% of Vector Renewables (“Vector”), a leading provider of technical advisory and asset management services to the renewable energy sector, from Nadara. The transaction further demonstrates the Fund’s strategy to invest in technology-oriented businesses capable of enabling the energy transition while empowering infrastructure resilience and accelerating the global adoption of scalable renewable energy solutions.
Since 2005, Vector has supported its clients across the entire lifecycle of solar, wind, storage and hybrid projects, with operations across Europe, Asia and Latin America and experience in more than 60 countries worldwide. To date, Vector has built a track record spanning more than 275 GW of projects supported as technical advisor, more than 30 GW through specialized Legal Advisory services and over 6 GW of assets currently under management.
Vector also leverages its proprietary cloud-based digital platform, NUO, to support renewable energy asset management. User friendly, with a flexible architecture, powered by advanced automation, data analytics and real time monitoring, NUO offers a unique range of services optimizing technical and financial performance of renewable assets.
With Vector, Algebris Green Transition Fund expands its international footprint, fully aligning with its core strategy of backing market leaders that accelerate the energy transition. Algebris will support Vector’s management team in driving the next phase of global growth, unlocking new scaling opportunities while further consolidating its technical and digital leadership.
“Vector has built an outstanding global platform with deep expertise in renewable energy and significant momentum to pioneer new technologies like BESS and hybrid systems. As a standalone company, Vector is now uniquely positioned to offer independent support to clients worldwide,” said Matteo Tarchi, Senior Partner of Algebris Green Transition Fund.
“We see clear potential to enhance the Group’s capabilities, broaden its specialised offering and accelerate its expansion across both existing and new markets. We look forward to working alongside the CEO and the entire team, providing Algebris’ full strategic support to drive this next phase of international growth,” added Francesco Becchelli, Senior Partner of Algebris Green Transition Fund.
“This year we celebrated Vector’s 20th anniversary and today we mark another defining milestone for our company. We are embarking on a new journey with a new shareholder that fully shares our vision, officially opening a new chapter for Vector. I am confident that this next phase – driven by our passion and commitment – will empower us to accelerate on emerging technologies and deliver even greater value to our global clients,” said Marco Guarneroli, Vector Renewables’ CEO.
